Chiropractor
Aimee Day, DC
Dr. Aimee Day is originally from Titusville, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Penn State University in 2015 with a degree in Biological Sciences. She then moved to Texas and continued her education at UT Dallas to complete a post-baccalaureate program in Biomedical Sciences. In 2022, Dr. Day graduated from Parker University with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Dr. Day has had a passion for the healthcare field since a very young age and has always wanted to be able to help individuals feel their best. She uses the latest chiropractic techniques that provide gentle, effective, and comfortable adjustments to improve the livelihoods of the patients that she helps. She finds immense gratitude in seeing patients get relief from their pain after an adjustment. Though chronic pain can leave an individual feeling helpless and less independent, Dr. Day is committed to helping her patients so that feeling of hopelessness can diminish and each patient can get back to their regular activities of daily life - with less pain. She is very excited and proud to have the opportunity to improve the lives of the members of the community that she serves at Advanced Spine & Joint.
In Dr. Day's free time she enjoys trying new restaurants, working out, and spending time with her 3 nephews. She and her boyfriend, Brian, live in Richardson, TX with their 3 dogs - Bentley, Bubba, and Blue. Growing up, Dr. Day was active in soccer, weightlifting, and softball. She also danced for 10 years with a love for Pointe and Ballet. She saw a chiropractor frequently and attributed living a pain-free lifestyle to getting adjusted consistently.
Medical Director
Dr. Oliver Ghalambor, MD, DABA, FIPP, DABIPP, DABPM
Dr. Ghalambor is an internist, anesthesiologist and fellowship trained interventional pain specialist from Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Ghalambor is a diplomat of American Board of Anesthesiologist with subspecialty certification in pain management. He is also a fellow in interventional pain management, a prestigious diploma awarded by the World Institute of Pain. Dr. Ghalambor also is a diplomat of American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians (ABIPP) and has served as an instructor and examiner.
Finally, Dr. Ghalambor is board certified by the American Board of Pain Management. Dr. Ghalambor received his training in internal medicine in the hospitals affiliated with Montpellier II university in Montpellier, France. After a year training in the preliminary internal medicine in Harbor Hospital, affiliated with Johns Hopkins medical school in Baltimore, MD he received his training in anesthesiology at John H. Stroger Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He is also a trained acupuncturist from Harvard Medical School and a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Management (ASIPP) and the Spine Intervention Society (SIS).
Dr. Ghalambor believes in comprehensive, multidisciplinary pain management. He believes that best results are achieved after a balanced, individualized combination of medical therapy, interventions, physical therapy and if needed, alternative medicine such as Acupuncture.
These beliefs and goals led Dr. Ghalambor to start NorTex Spine & Joint Institute with the first office being in Plano, Texas.
Nurse Practitioner
Chelsey Frisvold, FNP-C
Chelsey Frisvold graduated in 2014 from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Chelsey then went to pursue her career at The University of Texas at Arlington where she received her Masters of Science in Nursing becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Chelsey is nationally board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the state of Texas. Chelsey has nursing experience with patients of all ages, that range from caring for adults to pediatrics. She also has previous Nurse Practitioner experience in internal medicine.
Chelsey lives in McKinney, TX with her husband and three dachshunds. She enjoys spending time with her dogs and being outside with her family. Chelsey stays active with working out, weight lifting, and enjoys hiking with her husband.
Patient Care Coordinator/Rehab Tech
Abby Scott
Abby grew up in Rockwall, Texas and has always had a passion for the healthcare field. She is very excited to bring her expertise about patient care to Advanced Spine & Joint. She finds it very rewarding to see the look on a patient’s face when they begin to feel better and see results. In Abby’s free time she loves to read books and spend time with her dog, Rosie.
Rehab Tech
Isabel Aiyeojenku
Isabel grew up around the DFW area and is currently in college exploring the medical field. She has been involved in a sports medicine program that focuses on the needs of various athletes.
She has a great deal of empathy for patients during their health struggles and is always lending a helping hand where she can. In her free time, she loves exploring new places, and spending time with her boyfriend, Bryan, and their two dogs, Lola and Winston.
Back Office Coordinator
Lindsey
Lindsey was born and raised in Banks, Oregon, and is finishing her Bachelor's degree at Western Oregon University online. She spent a decade in the optical field and coaching the high school dance team before she relocated to Wylie in 2020 with her husband of nine years. Together they have a son and a sweet lab mix dog. Lindsey enjoys anything Disney including traveling to Disneyland, quilting, and spending time with her friends and family.
